Haven't been here in a while. The cashier was totally confused. People stood in line for a long time as she tried to sort out the orders. I took about 20 minutes to eat my sandwich, and the same people were still waiting when I left. My friend and I bought a cherry/chocolate cake from the bakery around the corner. The cake was so dry as to be inedible. We tossed it after a couple of bites. Would not recommend Silke for anyone.
Great place to get a taste of some German food. They sell fresh Breads and Pastries here. Quiet and Cozy little place.
This place is LEGIT. Wonderful cheerful service, old - fashioned atmosphere, plenty of room to sit down. Coffee is delicious. (I like the German coffee.) Large selection of very buttery pastries. The "bee sting cake" is amazing and so are the meats. Very feel - good place to have a unique, authentic German meal with family.
I have been coming here for ten years. Same people, same staff, same flavors, same consistent sublime cuisine and ambience. I will continue to come as long as I live around here and when I visit. This is a rare treat in Clarksville; a locally-owned, incredibly strong family business which is supported even by the military community. Thanks!!
Amazingly fresh, authentic German baked goods. The service takes patience only because it is so popular and they are well loved. Today, on the run, I had a Pumpkin Latte and a Ham & Cheese Roll. Even at room temperature it was yummy. I am counting down until December for the best Stollen outside of Germany!! :-D
