All of the folks at Gateway were wonderful and treated my mother with dignity and grace. I highly recommend them.
Professional, respectful, personal, and caring is how the staff at Gateway funeral home can be described. During our time of loss their experience allowed them to tactfully interact with us about business matters. At the time of the funeral they showed genuine compassion for what we were going through. As unpleasant of a time a funeral of a loved one is, they made the day easier, in countless ways. Great Job.
This place was less than acceptable! First of all, the staff (the few there were) were extremely rude and only cared that we were finished exactly at 7:00. Then tried to push us out earlier because the line “slowed down”. Oh, and we caught them eating some food that people brought for our family since we were there for 4 HRS!They made my family member look awful! I’m not sure who does the makeup but it looked like my 5 year old did it (she could actually do better). The worst part is that a few weeks later a friend of mine had her uncle pass in Dickson (which we also found out is owned by the same person!) and they paid 2x the amount I paid for the same service!! This is a crooked bunch of people preying on the innocent, grieving people in their worst time of need!
When my brother passed away we used Gateway Funeral Home. We were very pleased with their services. We were also pleased to learn that we saved over $2,000.00. I highly recommend this establishment.
Dont use this place for anything they can't get nothing right and their rude as f***
