Great service. Great prices. Plus it's the only place in town to buy exotic lumber.
Was looking for a place that sold species of wood not found in chain lumber stores and was referred to this place. Walked in, introduced myself, explained that this was my first visit and just wanted to familiarize myself with their products in stock. Instead of being acknowledged and left to wonder on my own, an employee who looked like he'd been working very hard stopped what he was doing to show me around and help answer any questions I had. I was impressed with the knowledge the employees had on the different species of wood as well as their ability to aid in the different densities of wood I was looking for. He helped me rummage through a loose stack of hardwood for a board I needed and when I wasn't satisfied with exactly the board I was looking for he offered to bring me a new stack with the forklift without hesitation. I usually don't go over the top with my ratings and add a bunch of fluff to make it sound like I received something for a good review but this company, at least when I went, left a lasting impression on me and I will return anytime I need that perfect piece of wood. When I remember the name of the gentleman that helped me I will update this review.
This isnt Elizabeth this is Jason I worked for AHC and the boss KIP wouldn't take care of an issue that I had with a supervisor named Dewayne so I ended up leaving the position. When i turned in my key and to get my last payroll check the boss said that main office mailed my check and that was not the case. The corporate office didn't do anything about it when i spoke to Elizabeth in payroll. Mu check was then mailed out tgis morning on Nobember 29th, 2017 by Kip himself, which means that my check was withheld from me and i was lied to also. This place is a very unorganized place to work for. My attorney is taking further actions as we speak.
