Before thier arrival I noticed my meter was full of water so I called back to report the leak . I get called back and told that for someone to come out it would be a 100 reinstatement fee since I was on a cut of list .
I called to pay my balance , and to have my water turned back on at 3pm. I was told they'd be out in a few hours .
When I asked how that was possible since I had payes my bill and the reinstatement fee during business hours I was met with bad attitude, no answers at all , and hung up on .
Awful awful awful company. This isnt the first time they have left a bad taste in my mouth .
The customer service at the 41A and Ringold office is marginal at best . If told you only have only 24 hours to live , pay your water bill in person , because being in that office feels like eternity. Over the last decade of doing business there, I have been talked down to and told their mistake are really my mistakes. There were months, yes months, that I never received a bill or statement in the mail. I would say it was the post offices fault , however no one in my neighborhood received a bill those months .When attempting to pay a bill ( that then had late fees attached to the final invoice) I was told that ,” I should of caught on that there was no statement sent out and to go paperless “. On a side note , if everyone went paperless there would not be a need for their teller jobs, so I encourage all of us to go paperless. The drive threw was even more painful. When attempting to pay a bill from my car I couldn’t hear the teller due to the microphone going in and out . I was unable to see the teller at the drive up window to make contact with them because 90% of the windows was covered with fliers . It was honestly comical because our conversation resembled Abbot and Costello’s act “Who’s On Base “. If there was any other option to have water and gas in my house I would , even it meant paying more, simply to avoid dealing with this company. Do yourself a favor, collect rain water and use propane.
Was out of town for the holidays , and upon returning come home to a house with no water . ( my own fault , I know).
Crappy customer service. Called on the phone before going over. Was told to turn on the water and gas was going to be $150.00 deposit and $50.00 activation fee and that I could pay 100.00 to get it turned on today and break the rest up on two bills. When I arrived I was told it would be over 300.00 dollars to turn it on and because I was a repeat customer they would not break it up on two bills. Mind you as a previous customer I was never late paying my bill and did not have an over due balance...I find it crazy that a company would treat a returning customer the way they did. I think it was very wrong. They should have honored what I was quoted on the phone by one of their reps and train them better. The lady on the phone knew I was a returning customer as she had my info on her computer while I was on the phone with her. Terrible service, bit what can you do when you need to have a service you can not get anywhere else.
Terrible customer service. I don't understand how the city water can be so unprofessional and terrible!? How is one supposed to get in contact with the water department, especially during the winter, when there's an emergency but NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE!!! Mind you this is during "working hours." They are real quick to contact the customer when they don't get their money, but can not be found when the customer needs help. This has happened numerous times throughout the 8 years I have lived here. Sad excuse for a so called water company. They need to start privatizing water and electric to multiple companies so us customers can get some decent help....
Impsosibble to reach on the phone. Called 5 Times in one day. Listened to elevator music and promises of “we’ll be with you shortly. After 15 minutes of this each time I called I had to hang up. They conveniently close at 4 pm so you cannot go by after work.
The worst customer service ever .
6 30 rolls by and no one shows up yet , and I called back to see if they could give me a time frame and/or update on the status . I was told they had a long list but would be out shortly .
