While I've yet to try their pie, this place is bringing it with their sandwiches. I judge a place by their meatball sub, and Michael's is up there with most places I've lived, including New England and New Orleans. Making that frozen custard is a terrific touch, and those old-school cookie sandwiches are worth the trip alone. The bagged chips they serve as part of a lunch special, which are out of Connecticut, are exceptional. Nice, quiet location and very friendly service. (Heck, they put up with Watosh.) Give them your number and you'll get ten bills back for every century you spend. All this lovemaking aside, they do need to work on their dinner salads. Price and quality aren't jiving. One complaint in a sea of "You need to try this gem out!"
We ate here yesterday and had a wonderful time! Staff was polite and kind to my three young children. Pizza was wonderful!
The food is great!!. Went in last night at 9:40 to get a sandwich to go and was told that everything was shut down for the night. Should close at 9:30 instead of 10
The food is good, but they need to work on their customer service skills, I ordered a large pizza , with extra cheese, that comes with everything, it cost 28 dollars, which is fine, but the guy was really late delivering my pizza, on top of that, he gave me a cheese pizza, not 1 single ingredient, so I called and the guy that answerd the phone,was giving me an attitude,like I was in the wrong, not only that, he said that , I cannot touch the pizza, so Im sitting here with a large cheese pizza, that I cannot touch, havt to wait 20 minutes for another pizza that was already late, from the begginning,to get the right pizza, then I got to explain to a 3 year old that is hungry, that we cant eat the pizza in front of me, I got to wait for the right pizza, I order here enough, and the guy didnt offer me anything, until I spoke up, he said he will take off 10 dollars, which he didnt, which was a lie, all the while talking to me with a attitude.
Too crusty for me but still good. The frozen custard was good though
