Beautiful park with access to the Cumberland River. Well maintained walking paths. Great play area for the kids. Tons of picnic areas for any size group. There is a large man-made pond that you can fish in. Loads of wildlife in the park.

Parking is free, convenient, and expanding in the latter stages of 2017.

Liberty Park is clean and nicely landscaped. It has free parking. There is a big grassy fields, trails along the Cumberland River. Plus there are structures set up for outdoor barbecuing and they have ample clean bathrooms. There is a play area for kids. It is also situated for easy access.

First-rate park with large outdoor playground that is convenient to restrooms, a large amphitheatre, a marina on the Cumberland river, a fishing lake, and all the grass you could need. I've been playing pick-up soccer here for over a year and the grounds hold up great.

Hosts lots of events both community-driven and official with a well-maintained web calendar on the Montgomery County official site.

Really great place to take the family either for a quick hike or to use the playground. The dog park is nice too if you have a pet.

FREEDOM POINT REVIEW: The venue is beautiful and for a GREAT price. However, my point of contact for the day was Lacey, and it was Lacey's first day...no big deal BUT Lacey has VERY POOR customer service skills. She was supposed to transport guests from the parking lot to the ceremony due to the rain and due to it being a long walk from the parking lot to the ceremony. She did not transport a single guest. As a result, our elderly guests parked up on the sidewalk so people could assist them down to the ceremony. Lacey decided to call the police and have all of our guests who were parked on the sidewalk (10 guests- including vendors who were transporting food and sound system equipment) ticketed during our ceremony, instead of asking guests to move their cars after the elders were walked down. However, the parking on the sidewalk could have been avoided if she was providing transportation as she was supposed to. After the ceremony guests moved their vehicles and were VERY upset about the tickets. At the end of the reception our bridal party and family helped clean up, but Lacey was requesting that we sweep and mop the entire venue including bathrooms. This was never apart of the agreement. We were to leave the venue in the condition that we found it- not clean it from top to bottom. She also told my husband, and I quote "I can turn up on you if I need to." She also proceeded to tell him she was finished talking to him and walked off mid conversation after he requested pictures of how the venue looked before we came in to set up (she was taking pictures as we were cleaning, so we figured she would have pictures of the event from the night before). He just wanted to ensure we were leaving the building how we found it and not doing extra clean up. Once we were out of the venue a clean up crew came in, but we aren't sure what was left to clean since our bridal party cleaned the venue from top to bottom. I spoke with Bethany via email and was told our deposit would be forfeited because Lacey reported alcohol being served after the bartender left and damage to the sidewalk. Neither were true accusations. Our bartender left an hour early due to only 3 bottles of wine being left and guests were preparing to leave. As he was leaving the remaining bottles of wine were placed in our vehicle. I also found the accusation about sidewalk damage hard to believe due to the fact that we weren't he first wedding at the venue and I'm sure other vehicles have driven up the sidewalk (you are allowed two cars that can remain up there as long as they are in the two designated spots). My husband drove all the way from Nashville to Clarksville to talk to Robert (owner) and he reiterated that our deposit would be forfeited. My husband proceeded to ask for proof that alcohol was served after the bartender left because Lacey would surely have taken pictures to prove her point and he also requested pictures of the sidewalk damage. Robert couldn't provide either. My husband advised him that we would contact our lawyer and he also mentioned Lacey's rude behavior, which was swept under the rug. We ended up getting half of our deposit back and he waived all of the parking tickets. The venue is beautiful and for a great price, but I strongly advise if you choose this venue to request another point of contact for the day of your event if Lacey is assigned to you. She almost ruined my day with her poor behavior.
