Took my dog here yesterday to get groomed. He is a Collie/Australian Shepherd mix. I told the staff I would like his hair cut to 1 inch in length but to keep a lion's mane. When I picked him up, I could tell right away that he looked awful - he did not look like a freshly groomed pup. His hair cut is extremely uneven. I cannot tell if his tail was trimmed, and they didn't even brush him. He had a lot of loose hairs from the trim, and I later found a matted spot. The checkout lady asked if I liked his cut. I said "no, not really" and expressed some of my concerns with it. She didn't say anything but just processed the payment without a tip added. I will not be going here again. Total waste of $74.
These folks have been very kind, grooming rescues and giving them the best possible chance of adoption. Bravo!!
I have a husky and two little Lhasa apso's and I am nothing but impressed on not only how this facility has groomed and bathed my dogs, but also very impressed on how the staff treats them like they are their own. My two little ones are always groomed to exceed my expectations. My husky comes back home without a shed of hair on her body looking and feeling great. I always recommend Doggie Day Spa to any of my friends and will continue to recommend them to anyone I meet that wants a top notch bath and groom for their little furry family members. Keep up the good work Doggie Day Spa no wonder why you have been voted the best of Clarksville so many times.
I had an appointment for 9:30 am to get my 2 small dogs groomed. I'm is now 1 pm and I'm sitting outside of doggie day spa, waiting, because they haven't even started grooming one of my dogs yet. I have to be at work in a few hours, and still have to drive home (25 minutes away) and get ready. There are 3 groomers working today. Why make an appointment if it obviously means nothing to them? Absolutely ridiculous. We definitely will not be back. Time to look for a new groomer.
