I'm a local business owner that used this company to clean our grease traps. Apparently they do not clean the collar on the trap which is only 3 inches, but they are more than happy to charge you a service call to clean it. Sounds like they skimp on quality work so they can charge you to make service calls.... Bad business practices!! Wish the lady on the phone was nicer too........ Looks like not carrying a toilet bowl brush on your trucks just lost you a commercial account.
Ripping people off 175$ for a service call
I then went on google and found Roto-Rooter. The woman who answered the phone gave me a window for the technician to arrive. Matt Harris (the technician) arrived with another gentleman by the name of Zach. These two guys were extremely knowledgeable and professional and found my problem almost immediately. They had A very nice snake type tool with a borescope-like camera and allowed me to view and take a picture of my broken pipe.
I had a toilet back up on me. I immediately called a well known company in town that does HVAC and plumbing. I’ve used this company before and they wanted me to wait 2 days due to the Thanksgiving holiday before they would send someone out.
We believe that a third party telecommunications company hit my sewage line accidentally while boring with a ditch witch to run their fiber lines. This is pretty common and Vicki Harris who answered the phone was able to give me the main number to save me from dialing endless numbers and waiting on hold in order to find the right dept.
Called them up yesterday about a busted hose pipe. They were here within about an hour, which was great since another place I had called said they wouldn't have anyone available till the next day. The guys were very nice and had me fixed up in no time. Would definitely recommend them.
Rates are OUTRAGEOUS! $225 per hour for weekends and $175 per hour during business hours. Very slow service just to make more money. Never ever again!
I’m extremely happy with the professionalism and the level of service I’ve received thus far. The estimate that I received to fix my issue was substantially lower than what o expected and I have a realistic idea of what this type of work costs. I am going to schedule the work through Roto-Rooter and I won’t hesitate to use them again in the future.
