Super friendly people. We were visiting family and looking for a homey place where the locals go, it didn't disappoint.
Under new ownership for just over a year. MUCH improved service, food is good although the portions are a bit small for the price compared to other similar eateries in the area. Still, it is a MAJOR improvement over the former ownership! Worth a visit, for sure.
I've been going here forever.....even when it was called Marias...My father loved this place and although he was disabled..They showed him so much love... He didn't get a chance to meet the new owners but they are just as fabulous as the previous owners. The workers and the food are always excellent
this place is what I was looking for, a small local family restaurant with good eats. place is small but not too many people. took a while to get our food but was worth the wait. the country fried steak isn't part of the breakfast menu but just ask for it and you get it. came out juicy and thick. probably the best cfs I've had. biscuits and gravy had a nice flavor. their Belgium waffle was big and fluffy but I wish they had added a little whip cream and strawberries. will return.
Great food at a very reasonable price. The family that owns it has a great story and really cares about their customers. I have been here a coupe times while traveling and they are also so eager to please and make you feel welcomed and appreciated.
