What a friendly and welcoming atmosphere! Everyone was very nice and extremely efficient. Trixie's exam was thorough and informative. No pushing of unwanted and unnecessary tests and treatments. Animal House is definitely our go-to for vet services now!
Someone or something dumped three maybe two day old kittens in my garage a few days ago. Needless to say I had no plan to provide care for three additional animals especially needy kittens with no mama Cat. Two folks stepped up to help with feeding and care as I travel frequently and the little bits need frequent feedings and care. Tonight we had a huge scare because two of them seemed to be struggling to breathe. In no time upon entering the clinic the techs and vet were working on checking out the kittens and providing care. They were all wonderful and caring. I was most scared of what the bill would be and when it was time to pay I wanted to cry because of how fair the pricing was. There is no way these kittens deserved to be left to fend for themselves and I am totally appreciative of the care given and fair prices for the care. We still have a long ways to go but with hope and a prayer hopefully these little bits will thrive. Thank you.
We've tried several local vets and none were knowledgeable on English bulldogs. Treated with great care, not over charged, treated my girls for what they came in for. Pther vets have done th. Well you need this or you need that but they didnt. She gave me nothing but positive complements on how well cared for my girls were and that I was doing great. Highly recommend!!
They were nice but, we waited a long time for our appointment. On the phone, we were quoted about $45. I knew my kitten had an infection so, I figured we would need to pay for some medication so, I set aside $75. Yeah, we ended up paying $115 because apparently, the $45 is just for seeing a vet? I didn't realize the test for the infection cost extra. They also charged us $11 for giving her the first dose of medications. It was a syringe in the mouth, not a complicated medicine. If I would have known it would cost $11, I would have done it myself. This was a few months ago and, I realized today, I forgot to leave a review. Take your animals to someone who cares.
Today I had an appointment at Animal House Veterinary Clinic to drop my dog off for a dental cleaning procedure. I was supposed to drop her off, sign some paperwork, and be gone. I arrived for my 8:10 appointment at 8:14, checked in as usual, and was told to wait. I spent the next THIRTY minutes waiting and watching as 3 other customers checked in AFTER me and were all called back to be seen before I had even been called back. I asked 1 of the 3 ladies working the front desk what was going on and was told I would be the next one called back. Before I even sat back down, another customer (who arrived after me) was called back. Finally, after FORTY-FIVE minutes of waiting in the lobby I had to get up and leave because I had to get to work. I then had to drive across town to return my dog home, then back across town to get to work. Completely wasted 2 hours of my morning. Never in my life have I had to wait in a lobby for 45 minutes. No explanation. No apology. I have been bringing my 2 dogs to Animal House since 2008. That ended today.
