Absolutely an exceptional dental experience!!! Aimee the hygienist is great at cleaning and polishing my teeth. Dr. Cornell is a fantastic dentist as she is very thorough, gentle and kind. I highly recommend Back to Basics to everyone!!!
If I didn't have to give 1 star by default, I would give this place a -5 star rating! Extremely rude staff! I had to cancel an appointment that I had, and I tried calling SEVERAL times on the Friday before my appointment to cancel, and was not able to get in touch with anyone any of the times I called. I was also unable to leave a message (it didn't give me an option.) I didn't want to be charged the fee for not canceling, so I went to my email and emailed them and explained why I was canceling and that I would need to reschedule. Monday morning I received a phone call from Back to Basics, and whoever I was speaking to was extremely unprofessional and rude. I explained that I had tried to call, and the staff member said "Well, I was here all day on Friday!" She was pretty much saying that I didn't call. Anyway, I explained that I sent an email, and I was put on hold 2 times for an extended period of time. I was told that for next time I needed to call and cancel my appointments. Not only did I try, but if sending an email to cancel an appointment is not an option, then why bother sending me a confirmation email and asking me to reply?????? The staff member then preceded to ask me what was the reasoning for canceling my appointment.... (If they would have read the email, they would have known)! I paid for the services and attempted to reschedule my appointment. I told the lady that I wasn't sure about when I could make my appointment, but that I knew if it wasn't before July 6 that I didn't know when I would be able to do it. She kept being pushy and attempted to put me on hold a 3rd time to talk about other options rather than sedation for filling the cavities. I didn't want another option. I just needed to be able to look at my schedule. I told her that if they weren't able to work around my schedule that I would have to go somewhere else. SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME, and pick another dentist. If you're looking for a place to go to empty out your wallet and be treated like a piece of crap this is your go to place! I am disgusted with the quality of service and care, and I wish I had a refund for the first 2 visits!!!! I also believe that they are money hungry!!! I was told I had 9 cavities!!! I had just been to the dentist a year ago, I use a Phillips snooker toothbrush (which is an amazing toothbrush) and although I had my reservations about what they were telling me, I believed them. I had been receiving top of the line dental care before going to this dentist, and after talking to several other people I will be going somewhere else and getting a second opinion.
I've been coming here for years. The staff here knows you by name and by face. Leslie is my Dental Hygienist and i would recommend her and Back to Basics to anyone looking for a good dentist.
I have been a patient of back to basics for quite a long time. I have never had any trouble out of anyone. I walk in and there is always a smiling face. It almost like you are with your"family". Deff a great place to go. i tell everyone!
The staff here is wonderful. They take very good care of myself and my children. They are so gentle with my 1 year old, my 8 year old and my 16 year old. The staff is very personable and always greets you with a smile. No complains about treatment and they always work with your schedule and try to made visits minimal. I would recommend anyone to go there. All the staff is expectional!
