Been going to this club for a few years now. My family and I love it! They have everything you look for in a gym.
BEWARE. Even if you actually fulfill your contract there's still a "30 day notice". Soldier on orders? Doesn't matter. You're gonna pay for that time.
I want an explanation as to why there's a 30 day notice WHEN MY CONTRACT WAS ALREADY UP. Do you have a limit on how many memberships you take? I bet not. This is not a house or a utility, where I need to be replaced as a customer and my spot can only be filled if I'm gone....making a "30 day notice" a fair expectation and ethical business practice. (Which makes this part of the contract especially ridiculous because for both my water and power, it was same day shut off) However in a city where the vast majority of your customer base is constantly being moved because they're military, this practice is simply a way to take advantage. This policy needs to be changed. I say this especially because I was a customer here for over three years, fulfilled the contract and was on a month to month basis. Which means I paid you in the neighborhood of $2,000. It's that important for you and the staff here to squeeze someone for that last little drop of cash? Please help me understand, because the staff couldn't. Feel free to call if there's a reasonable explanation for this.
Going for a swim midday and had the pool to myself. Good facilities well maintained with a friendly staff. All good.
Most of the staff is pretty nice except for 2 people. Most of the people in the weight room are friendly and will help if asked. Only thing i would recommend is the gym should close later !!!
Clarksville Athletic Club also offers pickle ball games 3 days a week, which I’ve been doing for just over a year now. It’s such a fun and addicting sport!
The kids’ programs are designed for each age group and keeps them active with their structured work out programs. The teachers are actively engaged with the kids.
The owners and the staff go above and beyond for their community from fundraisers to scholarships.
I would leave zero stars if I could. This gym is overpriced, overcrowded, and managed in a way that squeezes as much money as possible from every member. The customer service is by far some of the worst that I’ve experienced in any gym — possibly any business at all. Clarksville Athletic Club profits primarily by taking advantage of soldiers who are forced to pay their memberships whether they are in the field for weeks, sent to JRTC, deployed, or suddenly PCS’d. They “say” they’ll provide refunds if you can give them orders, but they’ll also make it as hard as humanly possible.
