VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. AMY CAME OUT TO MY HOUSE TO MEASURE FOR BLINDS, CLAIMS THAT THE ORDER WAS PLACE, BUT NO BLIND HAS BEEN DELIVERED, IT HAS BEEN OVER 4 MONTH VERY VERY BAD SERVICE

I was already put off by the way the phone was answered, but that is just my personal view on answering a business phone. Then for the woman to not listen to the question being asked was not a good sign. Further, she then asked if Bret was supposed to be installing my carpet today. That leads me to believe that there has probably been issues with that in the past, especially the pregnant pause after the ubiquitous "uh."

I've got news for Hometown Decorating, the only thing that separates you from any other business in Clarksville, TN or any other location is customer service. At this point they have lost any potential business I had for them, or any recommendations. Not only that, but I'm also not shy about posting my experience, so it might have cost them business from others as well.

I got carpet at this location about 10 years ago and I liked both what I got and the price I paid at the time. I just called them back up thinking to do some more business with them. When I called the woman who ansered the phone said, "Hometown Decorating," and that was it. No hello, how can I help you, nothing. I went ahead and asked if they still did carpet and she said, "uh," paused, and then asked if Bret was supposed to be installing my carpet today.
