Went to see him a couple of times for fluid in my ear. Told me each time that I did have fluid in my ear and to take allergy medication. Needless to say a year later and hundreds of dollars on doctors visits I still have fluid behind my ear drum.
My appointment was at 940, my daughter at 10, we were called back at 1100. The doctor inspected my daughter from his chair. She had 3 issues, once done with her he left!!! Did not even see me, the reception said he has never done that before and it was because of my daughters list of problems... 3 it was 3 problems and he forgot the ears until I said something so 2 problems he addressed!
My mother took me to him sense I was 13 and he was a half ass doctor, He never seemed to legitimately care.. Then I started having medical issues around 19-20 and he dropped me because I went and got my prescription when he told me not to drive, He said I was a risk. even though I didn't drive.. I had someone drive me so i could pick up my medicine. I had attack in public and went to the ER. Thanks for nothing. as usual.
Dropped me as a client when I needed him most. Then insulted me after.
Dr Schott is a great doctor and he really takes the time to listen
I visited Dr. Schott's office last month to learn more about a pain I was having in my hand. First thing that struck me was the receptionist - she sure didn't make an effort to make me feel welcome as a new patient, aka paying customer, but she wasn't rude. The wait was not long. As I am speaking with Dr. Schott, the tone of our conversation lets me know that he is committed to doing the absolute minimum to get through the appointment. Most surprising to me was later in the conversation when he described himself as "lazy." He is a nice man, no mistake there, but his professional manner left me wondering whether I was getting much out of the visit. I had a follow up visit after x-rays and the experience was similar. Turned out nothing was wrong with my hand and maybe that explains the lack of discussion and difficulty getting information from the doctor, but I didn't return the next time I was sick.
