Setting the Record Straight I would have to say, all things considered, this is a pretty high quality gym. It is certainly the best MMA gym in Clarksville; this is not just my opinion, if you objectively compare the gyms in this region you will come to the same conclusion yourself. The services (disciplines) they offer, their prices, and their customer service are exceptional - period. I've been all around this country and have trained in several gyms; I have seen bad gyms, and this is certainly not a bad gym by ANY measure. I gotta' disagree with Escokong, in fact, I think he is possibly trolling for another gym. There's no doubt in my mind Ron loves his fighters, but he is incredibly friendly to EVERYONE that trains at SSF. He's a very amiable and social guy. Since I've started training at SSF I have not fought MMA, I have only been training in Sambo, wrestling, and Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu, Ron is just as social with us as he is with his competitive fighters and MMA program members.
I just wanted to clear up some of this bull-mess I have been reading. In closing I want to mention that Chris, Noah, Ivey (some of the program instructors) and Ron are highly proficient in their chosen disciplines and have the skill, as well as the credentials, to prove it. Though they are incredibly professional, patient, and detail oriented - they still make class very fun and enjoyable. I sincerely hope any prospective student will take what I have said into account and make SSF their first visit when looking to train. Ron provides free trial services in all of the disciplines SSF has to offer so that one can see for themselves that SSF is the best gym in town.
I don't know what Claymation19 is talking about. Ron often clears up customer service issues as quickly as possible. He knows the importance of good customer service and is HIGHLY accessible. Ron is physically at the gym nearly every day of the working week unless he has matters that take him elsewhere. He has a very high on-line presence through his website and various other social media networks, not to mention his phone is nearly fused to his hand - if someone says they can't get in contact with Ron it is because THEY ARE NOT TRYING.
