I cannot speak highly enough of this place. For years my husband and I and all of the teachers my son had ever had knew there was something different about him. His doctor couldn't spot it and several therapists couldn't spot it. Finally, I came across this place and got my son an appointment. Everyone was so kind and my son felt comfortable going here and enjoyed the tests he had to do since they made them fun for him. He finally got his autism diagnoses that others could not spot because they were not specialized in this field like Clarksville Behavioral Health is. Thank you CBH!
Off to a bad start. I showed up early for my intake appointment, but I waited until 7:55 to go in and the door was still locked.
I wouldn't go here ever again.
I had two visits here in 2015 for some testing. Not only was the doctor not in at the original appointment when I was told he would be he was insulting when I did finally see him, I received one bill and never heard from them again. That is until this year when I got a bill forwarded from my old address. Apparently they have had some huge "mishap" with billing and not only was my account never credited for the one bill they sent and I had already paid but they had other bills that I was never informed of. I called them regarding this bill and after proving that I had already paid a portion I was sent an email stating that everything else on my bill was a true charge and I needed to pay the balance. I sent an email asking if I could get a discount for paying in full and I received no response. When I called, the woman was rather short and unfriendly with me unlike the first phone call, when it was possible that the charges weren't even mine. I understand that it's my responsibility to pay for services rendered, but I wasn't aware they were so disorganized that I should have been double checking to see if I owed them any more money for things that were being billed two months AFTER I stopped going to see them and they had gotten mostly paid for by my insurance. They may have things together now, but I wouldn't risk it.
Best possible pace to ever go and receive mental health services. I've recommended this place to others and will continue to do so. They were nothing short of amazing. They made it easy to talk about things.
