Our AC wasn't working with a newborn in the house and they denied it and never fixed it
When things are fixed they were fixed incorrectly
I had to harass them on a daily basis to get any work orders completed.
Trust the reviews. When I moved in, two deficiencies with the house were noted and I was assured they would be fixed in a timely manner. Despite several calls asking about the status of the work order, Alliance did not send someone out to fix the deficiencies until I had given a 30-day move out notice. After moving out, I gave a forwarding address to where my security deposit could be returned. 45 days later, I had still not received my security deposit (30 days is allowed under Tennessee law). I made numerous attempts to contact Alliance, being transferred to voicemail or being disconnected. I sent an email asking about my refund and the email was ignored. I waited a week and followed up with a more aggressive stance, and finally received a very unprofessional, one sentence response from Alliance saying the check would be in the mail that week. After another week and no check, I contacted Alliance again, asking where the check was. They made some excuses about the check getting lost in the mail, and then asked me for my address. To no surprise at all, when I received the check there were numerous deductions - including fees of $100 to mow the lawn and trim a shrub (The lawn had been professionally mowed a week prior) and a re-key of $75 (beware - you agree to this in the lease whether or not you turn in the keys). I decided to cut my losses and be done with this company. It just makes me wonder how many deposits they have gotten away with not returning. Ethical business practices are clearly not a priority with Alliance.
They charged me for petty things such as dust UNDER the fridge during move out inspection.
It took 7 weeks to get back the remainder of my deposit , after they lied for weeks telling me it was in the mail .
Do not rent from this establishment. We had resided in one of their properties for five years. During our time there we asked for the back porch to be repaired because there was a hole in the boards, which is unsafe. That sent someone out to look at it, but hadn't fixed it until two years later when I complained. The people they send to fix the repairs are not professionals, but some random guy they hire to do handy work. They fixed the patio but threw all the nails on the concrete where one got stuck in my tires. I called to see about an electric bill and how could we take care it. Needless to say the property management provoked my husband and was condescending with me when I tried to get the situation under control. From one veteran to another, stay away from this place. The staff here have some serious issues! You know when an establishment lies about there ratings when their employees go on google review and give it a five star..hint Rebecca Strong..lol
They were rude and hard to work with every time I called.
DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY.
They raised our rent because we were "asking for too many repairs"
This is the most frustrating and despicable property management company I have ever worked with. We are still waiting on things that were supposed to be fixed in May when we moved in!! We have called repeatedly about the issues that have needed to be fixed with this property and all they kept saying is "We have called the owner and are waiting to hear back." We then were able to get in touch with the owner and he knew nothing about the issues we have been dealing with. He had to call them for the matters to start to get taken care of. Our Daughter has been in the hospital since April and they have been taking advantage of our situation. Because we spend half our time in Nashville and half our time in Clarksville they are not addressing our issues with the house as they should because we can't be on them as much. We have called them over 20 times with the issues with our rental and there responses are "we will make a note of it". Please do not do business with this company as they by far the absolute worst property management company I have ever met. They should be consider Slum lords as that is the impression they have bestowed based on their actions.
Repair men always showed up in no uniform and unmarked cars at weird hours of the night
As I waited to meet a realtor for my 11:00 appointment today I read the reviews for this company. I must say, I really did not want to do business with them after reading. However it was almost my app time so I waited. At 11:02 I received a call that everyone is running behind this morning and it's looking like they are going to have to do an 11:30 appointment. I asked why did they wait to my scheduled appointment time to call and notify me. She said well this just happened. I said than you all were not planning on being at our scheduled appointment on time anyway or else someone would already have been here. I asked her to please cancel my appointment because that is unexceptionable and bad business. With a nice cherry voice she says ok and hangs up on me. Well that just solidified the bad feelings I had about this company. Thank you all for your reviews, they were most helpful. And if the owner of 2676 Elkmont drive happens to read this. I was prepaid to rent your home until this incident.
