I enrolled my daughter into the class and she really is loving it. She went in not knowing Korean but catched on quick and it wasn't hard. The master is really really kind and very helpful. We have enjoyed our experience so far we also decided to have our other daughter join the class and he's so patient with her. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
Our son spent three years learning Tae Kwon Do in Korea and earned his first degree black belt while we were stationed there with the Army. Since we've returned to the U.S., this is the only place in either Columbus, GA or Clarksville that come close to Korean standards.
Master Kim teaches kids the Korean way and it may be difficult for American kids to follow or enjoy. Master Kim knows his stuff, he's unwavering in his methods (perhaps 'harsh' by American standards), and is a strict disciplinarian. If you want your kids to learn the right way, this is the place to go.
DO NOT GO HERE! The "Master" barely speaks English. My child went here and was confused every day on what he wanted her to do. Would "teach" her the Form..all 50-60 steps..at oneach time, only one time...and expect the child to memorize it. His "teaching" skills are pathetic. CON ARTIST! Made me sign what we thought was a waiver of liability for the sparring, only to find out it was a contract that he will continue to charge you even if you stop going. This place is ridiculous!! I wish there was another. World TKD place in Clarksville. This place shattered my child's hopes and dreams of earning her black belt. She was 4 belts away and because of this place, she started hating the sport. DO NOT GO HERE! KEEP YOUR KIDS AND FAMILY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE. DON'T WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!
