Terrible business of I can give one star I would! They make it impossible for people to adopt a rescue pup. I am in the military and my wife is a RN and they talked to me like a I was a child and tried to tell me to look up the prices of handling a dog like I couldn’t afford it. After 3 days and 9 hours of terrible customer service they denied me because after I agreed to show them a mortgage payment slip to prove I was owning and letting them talk to my wife on the phone I refused to come back a 4th time...they wanted me to come back again with my whole family before getting a dog. Stay far away pick any other shelter but this one. The lady is bias and uneducated. Dogs are kept in cages and cannot be taken out or even touched until after you jump through impossible hoops after to fill out there 6 page application.

Got denied because we will be moving in a year for my husbands work. When asked what we would do with the dog we responded that we would simply take her with us. The. Asked what reason we would have to give away the dog and I said that if it bit my son which is unlikely as they are puppies. They look for every reason to deny your application. We were there for 2 hrs to get denied. Not to mention they don't even know the breed of the dogs and they are wanting 250 dollars for them.

If I can give them no stars, I would. Please don't waste your time here. As a military vet, I was denied because this will be my FIRST DOG. I couldn't believe what she said. I'm 33 years old and the lady there was talking to me as if I was a fu@king child about the responsibilities of taking care of a puppy. I told her I understand the responsibilities of having a puppy/dog or I wouldn't be here looking for one, I have a well paying job and a good home for the dog. Then the bit@h said "just like the military has there processes and procedures they go by, this is ours". Most of the puppies there were sick and unavailable for adoption, and they had the sick puppies with the healthy ones.

This is the worst place to adopt a dog. I used to work there so I know how hard it is to adopt a dog there. Regrettably I still told my husband that he should at least try because he really wanted a puppy. However they treated him terrible. He filled out the 6 page application and was told to call the next day because they wanted to close even though they stay open until 5 and it was 4:30. They never called so we had to call them. They made him wait 3 days and still didn't give him the puppy. We gave them all the paperwork for our older dog and they said that wasn't enough and that she wasn't sure if we took good care of our other dog even with a clean bill of health from our vet and up to date on all his shots. The puppy that we wanted was sick as well and we offered to work with her vet and pay for all the medical cost of the puppy and that still wasn't enough. I hated working there as well because they treat the animals so bad. The never let the puppies out they never play with them. The whole time that I worked there they took tons of application and I never saw one get adopted. They just wait until Wednesday when they can ship the animals to another location. I literally witnessed the vet that checks the animals before transportation actually chocking a dog because he was moving too much. When I confronted the staff about it they stated that he has done it for years and they are used to it. PLEASE DO NOT GET A PET FROM HERE!

Very friendly and professional. Lots of cute puppies. Kinda pricey tho
