Always a clean and welcoming place! When I was growing up, rest areas could be sketchy, and I know that with small budgets, it's hard to keep them up. However, this place is always kept up well and I appreciate how polite the workers are every time I've stopped by. It's also well-taken care of and clean.
For a rest stop, this is good. Lots of great info on Tennessee and stuff to do in the area. Most times, there's someone at an info desk, and they are very helpful. If you're a tourist or need to know more about the area AND you need to stop for a break, this is a good spot.
Awesome rest area. Please....drive past Kentucky and visit this stop! Also here for the total eclipse. They even provided people "eclipse glasses." A much better experience than just across the border in KY...Staff, kind, continuous and professional (enough) the facility was very clean...including the pet area. We made great life long memories here! Thank you
Beautiful rest area, just tight to get outnof a truck parking spot. Otherwise, clean and groomed.
Very comfortable place to get your second wind while driving. We wound up staying here for several hours since our child was very tired of sitting and wanted to run. The area is large, there are Outlets for you to use in the outdoor seating areas. Restrooms are clean and comfortable. Lots of information packets available and vending machines galore.
